Together with Physio Bergauf we offer running analysis, to help you improve your performance and reduce injury risk.
 

BACK ON TRACK WITH A SOLID FOUNDATION.
Our treadmill video analysis provides you and/or your training with the necessary information to get your running injury, overload or current problem under control. A running analysis can also be used preventively, to determine individual strengths and weaknesses in relation to running and to prevent injuries and improve running economy and efficiency.


WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM SUCH A VIDEO ANALYSIS?
Physiotherapeutic examination beforehand to determine and physical issues beforehand. Talk about training load, goals, previous injuries and results. 
Video analysis on the treadmill analysing running patern, stride and possible shortcomings in technique. 
Subsequent discussion of the abnormalities (running style, footwear, instabilities.

Second part of the analysis
Receive tips and technique advice to improve running form, repeat the running analysis to see if there is improvement. This process is repeated until the running form in adjusted. 

Results
Preparation of an exercise plan, tips and exercises for the future. Individual stabilisation and balancing exercises to match the running training. Advice regarding training load and possible further therapy and training if deemed necessary.

The running analyisis is for nearly everyone, whether amateur runner or top athlete it can be useful for all performance levels.

WHY RUNNING ANALYSIS

Analysing your running gait is rather an important tool to identify and understand the minute details about your mechanical patterns, faults and qualities. It assesses your running form in incredible detail that when utilized in the right hands, significantly helps you to improve your overall running performance. Besides this, running gait clearly defines and highlights your biomechanical eccentricities, and thereby, helps in running injuries management.

In order to understand your running gait, an assessment will always focus on two leg at a time during the complete run cycle.
The running form will be analysed from the the rear and the back, to understand your landing pattern.

Your running gait is broadly divided into four phases that the therapist will explain during the analysis. 

  • Phase 1: Swing phase: toe leave the ground, leg swings forward.

  • Phase 2: Foot contact phase: Full body weight on one foot as the foot contacts the ground.

  • Phase 3: Mid foot loading phase: From the moment the foot get loaded with weight to leave the ground to the moment the foot leaves the ground completely.

  • Phase 4: Toe-off phase: Heel leaves the ground, toes push off as body moves forward.
